Nokia’s sleep sensor can also track snoring and control your smart home

Nokia has taken the wraps off a product called Sleep at CES 2018, which provides insight into the quality of your sleep. It’s a Wi-Fi enabled pad that fits under the mattress and tracks things like the duration of your sleep, how much you snore, and more.

It connects to the Nokia Health Mate app on a mobile device and provides you with a Sleep Score that shows how good — or bad — your sleep was. The app also educates you on what makes a good night’s sleep and offers tips on what you can do to improve yours. Additionally, it integrates with Alexa, so you can ask your Amazon Echo and other devices powered by the digital assistant about your progress.

The great thing about Nokia Sleep is that it works with IFTTT, allowing you to automate your smart home. For example, you can set it up so that the lights automatically turn off when you go the bed and turn back on when you get up in the morning.

The Nokia Sleep will go on sale sometime in the first quarter of this year for $100. You’ll be able to get it from Amazon and other large retailers. Any takers?
