According to The Telegraph, in the UK, along with some corroborating tweets, Uber’s Advanced Technologies Group is actively hiring engineers for its JUMP group, to work on “autonomous scooters & bikes that can drive themselves to charging or better locations.”
Yes, that’s cool:
But, wait just a second:
So, who will be right? Uber throwing money at clever engineers who will get big budgets to try and make something work at the consumer level, or the experts in the field? Of course, that doesn't mean it's all pointless, Uber might get some nice innovations or at least patents from this work... but I'm on the won't happen side.
Bloomberg reports that a huge corruption and graft scheme from DJI’s own staff has emerged.
