“The Matrix," one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time has spawned a third sequel, 20 years later.
The first two sequels, “The Matrix Reloaded,” and “The Matrix Revolutions,” emerged in 2003, four years after the original. (Some people pretend the latter two don’t exist, but whatever — I’ve seen them all a bunch of times and they’re variously amazing, and topping the original was always going to be impossible.)
