☕ Good morning! A little personal anecdote or two in the second story for today, but I think I'm onto something...
One of the things about driving around France last week in a hired Citroën car was trying to get to grips with the car’s slow, lazy touchscreen:
Mazda to the rescue:
Does that mean touchscreens in cars are wrong, and dead?
(The Samsung Galaxy Note 9)
If the reports are right, Samsung is launching the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7 in New York City, heading back to the Barclays Center where it last announced the Note 9 back on August 9, 2018.
Meanwhile, what about our old friend the Galaxy Fold, currently still MIA?
⚖ Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency is already under heavy scrutiny from governments, including France, Switzerland and now a top democrat (The Verge). Regulators are raring for this kind of fight, it seems.

🐲 Speaking of: “People have discovered Game of Thrones had a sixth 'Inside The Episode' recorded and intended to follow the finale with Dan Weiss and David Benioff commentary, but it was mysteriously removed before it could ever air.” (r/freefolk)
Also... yesterday was a classic first day back, with a mistake or two in the Round Up links. Sorry! Here are two fixed links:
🏨 “I slept on the roof of a Honda Passport to prove that hotels are for suckers” (Jalopnik). (I had to fix this one, it includes sentences like: “I only really go outside when my Apple Watch bullies me about not having moved all day.”)
YouTuber Simone Giertz, or “The Queen of Shitty Robots” and (a two-time brain tumor survivor) has, for some reason, turned a Tesla Model 3 into a pickup truck (or ute for you who know what that is). And it’s great, and weird!
Have a good one,
